Goulburn
West is a school committed to the
development of the whole child. The school holds and
maintains strong links and partnerships between students,
teachers, parents and the broader community.
We
have 12 classes from Kinder to Year 6 plus an Opportunity
Class for gifted and talented students. We also have a
modern library that is well-stocked and an excellent
learning support staff.
Our
school was established in 1952 in the West
Goulburn area. It is
situated in pleasant surroundings with large shady trees.
The school has a large, well-enclosed playground with many
facilities for the children. These include two separate sets
of play equipment, cricket nets, a fully separate and enclosed tennis/netball/basketball court, handball
courts and an outdoor chess board.
Our school is networked and the students and teachers all
have access to their own email accounts, the
internet and the
Department of Education and
Training's intranet.
